Statistical Officers Training Scheme (SOTS) – SBP 9th Batch

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Central Bank of the country, is inviting applications from young, talented, and energetic individuals for the position of Statistical Officer (OG-2) under the Statistical Officers Training Scheme (SOTS) – 9th Batch. The selected candidates will work in the Statistics and Data Services Department.

Posting Location: Karachi

• 16 years of education (Bachelor’s, Master’s or equivalent)
• Minimum 60% marks or 2.5/4.0 CGPA or 3.5/5.0 CGPA
• Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or Data Sciences
• Degree must be from HEC-recognized Pakistani or foreign institution
• Foreign degree holders must provide HEC equivalence certificate

• Maximum age: 26 years as of December 07, 2025
• 3 years age relaxation for females, transgender persons, minorities
• Relaxation also applicable for candidates from Balochistan, AJK, GB, and ex-FATA
• Age will be calculated as per CNIC

2. Complete all required information including photograph and date of birth
3. Last date to apply is December 22, 2025
4. Applications submitted by hand or email will not be accepted
5. No application or test fee is required
6. Written test will be conducted by a testing agency at designated centers
7. Admit cards will be issued via SMS, post, and testing agency website

• Shortlisting based on written test performance
• Group discussion and psychometric assessment
• Panel interview
• Original documents verification (CNIC, Domicile, Degrees, HEC equivalence)
• Any false information may lead to disqualification

Selected candidates will undergo residential Applied Focused Theoretical Training at National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad. After successful completion, candidates will be appointed as Assistant Director (OG-2) at SBP Karachi.

• Monthly stipend during training: Rs. 41,000
• Post-training salary: Rs. 82,000 per month
• Additional allowances and benefits as per OG-2 rules
